Rails to Trail 5k
This is a point-to-point 5K race that will start at the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue. There will be buses transporting runners to the starting line with a race time of 7pm on Friday, July 12th.

Rails to Trail 5K Run starts at the CONNECTICUT DRAFT HORSE RESCUE located at 113 Chestnut Hill Rd. East Hampton, CT.
The first mile of the race leads you down Chestnut Hill to Rt 16, crossing over Rt 16 to Alden's Crossing and taking a right onto the AIR LINE TRAIL. You will continue approx. two miles down the shade covered Air Line Trail, crossing Forest St. ( where there will be a water station), exiting at the Company One Firehouse on Barton Hill, left onto Main St and right into the CENTER SCHOOL driveway to the finish line at the Old Home Days grounds.

Last minute Registration and BIB pickup will be at Center School Thursday and Friday night.
BIB pick-up: All Thursday night at the Fairgrounds . Friday at 5:30pm . There will be No bib pick-up at the starting line.
All participants that PRE-REGISTER will get a FREE 2024 Tee -Shirt !!
Entry Fee: $25
Shuttle buses will be provided starting at 6:00pm - departing from Center School.
Race starts promptly at 7pm.
Walkers are welcome.
